Why being a Virtual Assistant can help you get started

Hi everyone,

I would like to share to you an email from my mentor, Mr. Jomar Hilario.
As you know he will be conducting a seminar on how to become a Virtual Assistant on Sept. 18, 2010.

You know the tree by it's fruits, it's been said. So let's follow some participants lives who attended my workshops:

1. Mia - attended last year. Now a Virtual Assistant (VA)

2. Elvin - attended last year. Now a Virtual Assistant (VA)

3. JamilCarr - attended last year. Now a Virtual Assistant (VA)

4. Mark - attended this year , makes in excess of $1000/month as an SEO VA.

All of them are working from home. Fine, before he makes tampo:

5. Paul - attended last year, now a VA BOSS - leading a team of VAs.

All of them work from their home. A VA is not an employee working from home. He's actually an entrepreneur.

But an entrepreneur who's willing to get 1-4 clients so he can build up both:

1. Income

2. Knowledge

...by working for people for their businesses.

VAs get a first hand personal look at someone else's business and personal life (some clients like me, hire VAs even for personal things like "erasing blurred photos from vacation pictures". Some VAs like Mark and Paul above applied SEO techniques from my workshop and are now earning much more than before. Why? There's no traffic, rent, uniform, lunch out and accompanying employment expenses. You actually get to keep more of what you earn.

So how about you? Ready to investigate (not plunge, just take a look) at VA world?

Will these 5 remain a VA? Maybe. Will they hire their own VAs in the future? Most likely. Being a VA is a good step to learning about "working from home" and "earning from home" and "learning about business". The great thing is --you're not the one "punished for making business mistakes" --your client is. You're just there to execute and be on the first row seats in both business victory and failure. All the time - taking it all in - learning.
